Here at Baxendale Employee Ownership, we are delighted to announce that we recently completed our 200^th client transition to an employee ownership trust (EOT). Hitting this milestone is a tremendous achievement for the team, we are very much looking forward to celebrating this along with our 40^th year in employee ownership at the EOA Annual Conference next week.

The rate in which businesses are transitioning to employee ownership is astounding; last month we saw the EOA launch the Knowledge Programme 2023 – an initiative that is set to elevate the landscape of employee ownership which released dramatic and important evidence on the positive impacts of sharing meaningful ownership and participation with employees.

The People Powered Growth Report was the first report launched by the Knowledge Programme. The research delivered truly remarkable results – a robust evidence base that outlines the profound benefits EO delivers to employees, businesses, local communities, the environment, and the wider economy. The study showed that employee owners are 8-12% more productive than workers in other businesses, with the sector growing at over 30% per year, we are driving a quiet revolution!
