Celebrating Our 300th Employee Ownership Transition with Whitewall Marketing

Last month we reached an incredible milestone – our 300th employee ownership transition. We’re proud to have marked the occasion with Whitewall Marketing, a Glasgow-based marketing agency that recently celebrated 20 years in business.

For Whitewall, the move comes at a pivotal time. Founder Susie Cresswell, who has led the company since day one, is beginning to step back. Employee ownership offered her a sustainable succession plan – one that protects Whitewall’s independence, safeguards jobs, and ensures the company’s culture continues to flourish.

“This is about securing the future of Whitewall for the brilliant team who make it what it is,” said Susie. “Employee ownership means the people who care most about the company – our employees – will now share in its success and play a central role in shaping its future.”

The transition also coincides with the appointment of Emma Houston as Managing Director, who joined this month to lead Whitewall into its next chapter.

Our partners Louise Fisher, Senior Legal Manager, and Hannah Welch, Manager, guided Susie and the team through the transition. Reflecting on the milestone, Louise said:
