The EO Awards, run by the Employee Ownership Association, recognise the considerable contribution EO businesses make to the economy. Baxendale Director, Campbell McDonald, says, “Employee ownership in the UK is in impeccable health. 17 years after Baxendale launched our mission to create more EO businesses, each month that goes by sees the sector’s strength in depth grow – and we expect and hope to see that reflected in the 11^th annual EO Awards in November.”

Why enter?
The awards recognise the productivity, innovation and excellence driven by teams and individuals in EOBs, which demonstrate how employees having a stake in the business teamed with a robust culture of transparency and employee engagement result in outstanding performance in growth and resilience.

By applying you are able to tell your story, get recognition for your great work and shine a light on the sector. It’s FREE to enter, and the winners will be announced during the gala dinner on the first evening of the EOA Conference on 27th November 2017. With good food and representatives from all kinds of EOBs coming together to celebrate employee ownership, it promises to be the most important evening of the year for the EO sector.

How to enter
There are six categories and you can enter through the online portal. They are:

• EMPLOYEE OWNED BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
• EMPLOYEE OWNED POSITIVE IMPACT OF THE YEAR
• EMPLOYEE OWNED RISING STAR OF THE YEAR
• EMPLOYEE OWNER OF THE YEAR
• EMPLOYEE OWNED INNOVATION OF THE YEAR
• PHILIP BAXENDALE FELLOWSHIP AWARD

The Philip Baxendale Fellowship Award
The legacy of our founder continues with this award, which recognises the contribution an individual has made, or is currently making, to the growth of employee ownership in the UK. The winner will be someone who has an indisputable commitment to employee ownership and whose influence and impact within the sector is clear and widely recognised.

Application deadline
The deadline for entering a submission is 5pm on Thursday 7th September 2017.
