6 weeks to go until the EOA Annual Conference 2023

We are all really looking forward to returning the EOA Annual Conference on the 27th & 28th November at the ACC Liverpool as headline sponsors for the second year running.

The EOA Annual Conference has become the UK’s flagship event for employee ownership with an audience of over 700 business leaders, employee owners and professional advisors coming together.

James de le Vingne, Chief Executive of the EOA, said: “We’re thrilled to be supported by Baxendale Employee Ownership as the headline sponsor for the EOA Annual Conference 2023. As industry leaders, the team at Baxendale Employee Ownership bring a wealth of expertise and experience to our conference, thank you to the team for your invaluable support and partnership in making this event a resounding success!”

We all feel incredibly proud to be the headline sponsor again, as 2023 marks 40 years of our own employee owned business, where our DNA links right back to the iconic Baxi Boiler when our Founder Philip Baxendale took the business into employee ownership.

Today, we are a team of partners with an impressive 50 combined years of employee ownership experience. We are all very much involved in the delivery of 4 breakout sessions during the conference, where you will have the opportunity to find out about Employee Ownership through our knowledge and expertise.

On Monday afternoon Cristín Craig and Simon Everingham will be delivering our first session “How to become employee owned” giving delegates an introduction to employee ownership, and discussing the key milestones during the transition. Simon will also be facilitating the “How we became employee owned” where his client Eye Presentations will share their journey along with their lessons learnt.

On Tuesday morning Emily Alston will be facilitating “The early years of being employee owed” with her client Horizonscan who will share what happened post transition and how they developed their effective trustee board. As the Conference comes to close mid Tuesday afternoon, Ewan Hall will be delivering one of the final sessions titled “Keeping your governance alive and kicking”. This session is aimed at established employee-owned businesses who may have reached financial freedom and are seeking ways to refresh and evolve their governance structures.

We look forward to meeting up with past, current and future clients in November, and if you haven’t booked your tickets and would like to attend, tickets are available to purchase here.
